About the service

Australian Rebate Finder ("we", "us") operates a free eligibility-checking and referral service that matches Australian households with solar and battery rebate programs and accredited installation partners. We are an independent service — we are not a government agency, and we do not install solar systems.

No guarantee of rebates

Rebate amounts displayed on this site are indicative only. Actual entitlements depend on your individual circumstances, system selection, location and the rules of each program at the time of installation, all of which can change without notice. Passing our eligibility check does not guarantee approval under any program.

Not financial advice

Information on this site is general in nature and does not take your personal financial situation into account. It is not financial, legal or tax advice. Consider seeking independent advice before making decisions about energy products or finance.

Referrals

Where you conditionally qualify, we may refer your details to CEC-accredited installer partners. Any contract for installation is between you and the installer; we are not a party to it. We may receive a fee from partners for successful referrals — this never increases the price you pay.

Acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate information and not to misuse the site, attempt to breach its security, or scrape its content.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from reliance on information on this site or from the acts or omissions of third-party installers. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
